I need help with fafsa

Question:

I live with my grandmother and my mother. My mother supports me and my grandmother she pays all the bills and such.

My grandmother does recieve a social security check though. On her income tax form my mother does not file my grandmother as a dependent so what do i do on my fafsa? Is there a way to show that my grandmother is supported by my mother or do i just leave household size at 3 and dont put anything else.

Answer:

Just leave the household size at 3. If you get selected for verification (30% of all applicants do, so don’t worry if you do) your school will send you a worksheet to fill out. One of the questions is to list everybody in the household, and you would list your grandmother there.
